We will be opening our Wholetime Firefighter Recruitment process later this year and are planning some taster days and information sessions to give you more information about the role of a firefighter, the process of recruitment and how to maintain your fitness in preparation for the physical selection tests.

How to get involved:

Firstly, submit your expression of interest by clicking on the Register button below. Your details will be added to our database, and you will be contacted by the recruitment team with information on taster days and how to book on-to future events. (please note this is not an application for the role, we will contact you with details on how to apply once the application process is open).

Attend our taster days! Get involved in practical activities, meet some of our current Firefighters, gain and understanding on what the physical requirements are to join SFRS and ask as many questions as you need to make your decision on if this is the career for you.
