Inspector Promotion Process

This opportunity is open to exceptional substantive sergeants looking for promotion, or substantive Inspectors who are keen to join us on a level transfer.

Awareness session

An awareness session will be hosted on Wednesday 29 November 2023, from 5.30pm online via Microsoft Teams. Here, you will have the opportunity to hear our Chief Constable Chris Noble talk about the role and the process, and get the chance to ask any questions.

A written assessment will then take place between 12 and 14 December 2023. Followed by the interview and briefing exercise process for successful candidates which will be taking place between the 22 January 2024 and 9 February 2024.
