Shift working – 7 days a week 24 hour coverage 365 days a year

This is an exciting prospect for a highly motivated individual to become a Research and Data Officer within Staffordshire Police I24 department.

You will undertake research using a wide variety of sources to assess, evaluate and disseminate information to inform the Force duty officer on spontaneous incidents.

You will provide expertise through the development and provision of intelligence research capable of informing and assisting decision making at a strategic, tactical, operational and organisational level.

You will identify connections in information and develop intelligence – collecting, exploiting, assessing and interpreting a range of information sources and deliver valuable, influential research to tack threat, risk and harm.

The role is both varied and interesting, providing the opportunity to engage in local, regional and national projects and operations as appropriate.
