An exciting opportunity has arisen as Finance Business Partner. The force currently has four Finance Business Partners, each aligned to a command area, and are part of the Financial Management Team responsible for ensuring a balanced budget and value for money for the taxpayer.

As Finance Business Partner you will work directly with Heads of Service, budget holders, and other stakeholders to provide professional finance support, advice, and challenge to aid the delivery of the best possible service within the resources available.

You will be a confident communicator and able to present financial information to non-financial people as you will be required to attend command boards and other meetings to present financial information, advise and challenge on behalf of Financial Services.

The role will support and inform the budget setting process and contribute to the Medium-Term Financial Strategy (MTFS) as an integral element of the overall Force financial strategy.

The role is based at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, with the opportunity for agile working.
