Reporting to the Transactional Finance Manager the post holder will work within the Finance and Commercial Services department located at Staffordshire Police HQ
The post holder will form part of a specialist team and have responsibility for the raising of Sales invoices, Debtors credit control and ensuring that all transactions showing on the Forces/OPCC bank statements are posted accurately to the ledger in a timely manner
Key Responsibilities will include:
To ensure all Accounts Receivable Transactions are posted to the ledger in a timely manner, process Bacs, cheque and Faster payments in liaison with the Treasury Management Team, ensure the posting of all transactions to the ledger for cash, cheques and other payment methods received into the Forces/OPCC bank accounts are posted accurately and perform reconciliations with the bank statements
