ARE YOU A  PC or DC WORKING IN MOSOVO?

Staffordshire Police are currently expanding the MOSOVO team.  We have up and coming vacancies at our sites throughout Staffordshire.

‘MOSOVO’ is the management of Sexual or Violent offenders.  Only Registered Sex Offenders and some of the most violent offenders in society qualify for this management.  The robust management of these individuals genuinely helps to ensure that Staffordshire is a safer place to live and visit.

These offenders will be managed in a number of ways including, but not limited to;

  • Arrest and prosecution
  • Unannounced home visits
  • The use of civil orders such as Sexual Harm Preventions Orders (SHPO), Sexual Risk Orders (SRO), Violent Offender Orders (VOO) and Serious and Organised Crime Prevention Orders (SOCPO).
  • Working with a range of partners to reduce the risk of reoffending.

The team has a number of experienced members, which are a great support when entering into a role which is as unique and specialist at MOSOVO.

“Staffordshire have a strong commitment to equality and diversity in our people, within the organisation and in the services, we provide to our communities.

We want to reflect the communities we serve and one way we can try to achieve this is through a 'positive action' approach.

Positive action is activity which helps employers identify and remove barriers and issues to the recruitment, retention and progression of people who identify with underrepresented groups of the Equalities Act 2010 (i.e. LGBT+, ethnicity, disability), whilst still employing people on merit
