About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to work within the HR Systems Team providing business systems support for the Origin ERP system to Staffordshire Police, Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Commissioner’s Office.

This role has a broad and varied remit providing first line support to the users of the Origin system, dealing with queries, problem solving and providing technical information regarding functionality, capability and how the system integrates with other systems. Offering support to the systems administrators with testing and upgrading of the systems and also liaising with the service provider.

You will be required to liaise with relevant departments and teams to gather information relating to workforce changes to ensure accurate establishment data is maintained. Producing reports is also a key responsibility within this role providing a range of weekly, monthly and quarterly management reports. These reports are based on information from across the whole of the Origin ERP suite that includes: HR, Training Event Desktop, Health and Safety, Duties Desktop, Payroll and Expenses.

If you have experience of working within a similar customer service environment demonstrating excellent communication skills, managing your own workload, working with spreadsheets, problem solving coupled with the ability to deal with queries in an efficient and effective manner, providing a high level of customer service we want to hear from you.

You will be provided with the relevant training and support to become an effective member of the team.
