We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Full Time Governance Manager to support the Staffordshire Commissioner’s Office on a permanent basis. This position is based at Staffordshire Police Headquarters, with the ability to work flexibly and from home as agreed with your line manager.

You will work as part of the Governance & Assurance Team within the Staffordshire Commissioner’s Office, leading on the support of the Police, Fire & Crime Commissioner’s statutory audit function the Ethics Transparency and Audit Panel and assisting with the development of governance arrangements for the office. This role will also lead on the statutory transparency agenda for the office through adherence to the Specified Information Order and required publications. It is therefore essential that you can demonstrate highly effective checking and recording of legally required information and have the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
