Policy, Performance and Systems Officer - Grade G , Permanent, Full-time position - (Salary: £36,996 - £43,098)

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Joint Emergency Transport Unit, which is based at Trentham Lakes, Stoke on Trent.  This is a Grade G role starting salary (£36,996 - £43,098)

About the Opportunity:

The Joint Emergency Transport Unit is responsible for servicing and maintaining all fleet across both Staffordshire Police and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue. 

You will be working alongside a small but passionate team, who strive to achieve high standards in service delivery for all our colleagues who drive and use our fleet vehicles.  

The role will provide key data from our Fleet Management System, extracting the important stuff to help shape both the workings in the workshop and the data for the wider business and organisations to inform and make key decisions for the future of our fleet.  

You will also liaise with other key stakeholders such as IT and with some external suppliers. 

An understanding of Fleet Management systems would be advantageous.   

Alongside the data and systems role, there is the need to be the gatekeeper of policies.  Ensuring the policies are kept up to date and adhered to, using latest knowledge to provide and update current policies where appropriate to do so, all under the direction of one the team at the transport unit.  Knowledge of policies and report writing would also be a benefit to support you in this role.
