We are currently recruiting for transferees at the rank of:

  • Police Constable
  • Police Sergeant
  • Forensic Collision Investigator PC's

Neighbourhood policing continues to play a significant part in tackling issues and working in partnership with our local communities. Our response teams are on hand 24/7 keeping our communities safe. Our highly skilled investigations teams work effectively to solve crime and support victims of crime.

We have central Firearms, Roads Policing, Operations, Offender Management, Intelligence and learning and development departments and work in partnership with police colleagues in the West Midlands CTU, NABIS, the Central Motorway Police Group and the Regional Organised Crime Unit.

Am I eligible?

  • To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police as a Constable or Sergeant, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your work-based assessment or probationary phase.

  • You must be transferring from a Home Office Force

Onboarding

We aim to make our onboarding process as smooth and straightforward as possible.

  • You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role.
  • We would like to know what skills you have to offer so that we can identify the most appropriate posting for you.
  • Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre-employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
