We are currently recruiting for transferees at the rank of:

  • Detective Constable
  • Detective Sergeant

We have a wide range of opportunities across our specialist investigations teams including CID, Child Protection and Serious Sexual Offences Team.

Am I eligible?

  • You must be NIE qualified and have achieved or be working towards PIP Level 2.
  • To apply to transfer to Staffordshire as a Police as a Constable or Sergeant, you must be substantive at the rank you are applying for and have completed and passed your work-based assessment or probationary phase.
  • You must be transferring from a Home Office Force


We aim to make our onboarding process as smooth and straightforward as possible.

  • You will be required to complete and pass a role-based interview which will focus on the competencies and values required for the role.
  • We would like to know what skills you have to offer so that we can identify the most appropriate posting for you.
  • Appointment will be dependent upon successfully passing pre-employment checks, vetting, and medical, which will include a drugs test and a fitness test.
